[Custom Code/Guide Request]

Hey, Please choose option 1 or 2, if you know how to create both so please write the answer for both of them.

 

Option 1 : I want to create an armor that when you wear it and press P a basic GUI will open

 

Option 2:  I want to create an armor and an item and when you wear the armor and right click with the item a basic GUI will open.

 

(I prefer option 1 if option 1 is not possible then option 2)

option 1

option 1
create armor
create key bind
make the key p
either make it a check for item command and choose the chestplate or another part of the armor and add an event then make it an "open basic GUI" event
or
add an event and make it an "open basic GUI" event , then choose the GUI & make happen with "hasPlayerInInventory[item/block]" and choose the chestplate or some part of the armor
option 2
create your armor.
create the item.
add an event to the item "when right clicked on block" or "when right clicked in air"
make it an "open basic GUI" event , then choose the GUI & make happen with "hasPlayerInInventory[item/block]" and choose the chestplate or some part of the armor

@mtn dew 314 Your answer is not good because "hasPlayerInInventory[item/block]" checks the player's inventory not if he wears it and key binds are bugged, pylo said that it will be fixed in 1.8.

instead of Items.diamond

instead of Items.diamond_chestplate you would add the armor item you created it would be something like mcreator_.body
